Our journey to China began with a very long 14 hour plane ride from Washington DC to Beijing. We all did our best to entertain ourselves during the marathon ride. Shaelin and Talia did almost all of their homework - they probably had enough time to do a month's worth of homework. Peter and Jodi watched all of the movie choices - some, like Slumdog Millionaire, we even watched multiple times! Shaelin also passed the time getting very proficient with her Nintendo game. Its amazing the battery lasted the whole trip. Everyone did a great job surviving the trip and were excited to start our adventure in China. Here is a video that shows some of our flight...
